About the Vocational School of Justice
History of Vocational School
Vocational School of Justice was established in 2013 with the Senate Decision dated 09.10.2012 and numbered 2012/11-32 of Karabuk University and the letter of the Higher Education Council dated 15.02.2013 and numbered 7548-11149. There are currently 5 permanent lecturers and 4 administrative staff in our school.
 
Purpose of Vocational School
The purpose of establishment of Vocational School of Justice is to train qualified intermediate manpower especially needed in various units of the Ministry of Justice.
 
Vocational School Program Content
In the Vocational School of Justice, mainly law and vocational knowledge courses are given. The courses to be taught within the scope of the program have been determined as theoretical and practical, especially considering the qualifications required by the justice services. In addition to basic law courses such as the beginning of law in general, knowledge of constitutional law, knowledge of civil law, administrative law, law of obligations, criminal and criminal procedure law, professional ethics of justice, judicial organization, keyboard usage, office management, notification law. courses such as law, law and notary law are given. Students who were entitled to enroll in the Vocational School of Justice as a result of the ÖSYM exams in that academic year and students who graduated from the Vocational High School of Justice and were placed in our school by ÖSYM upon request can enroll. The education period at the School is 2 years. To our graduates, Karabük University Associate Degree and Undergraduate Education Regulations xx. Associate Degree Diploma specified in the article is given. Graduates can make a “vertical transfer” to Law Faculties within the framework of the “Regulation on the Continuation of Graduate Education of Vocational Schools and Open Education Associate Degree Programs Graduates” and thus obtain the right to start undergraduate education.
 
Vocational School Graduation Requirements
In order to graduate from the program, each student must take 120 ECTS/ECTS credits from the compulsory and elective courses taught in the Associate Degree Program and complete a 30-working-day compulsory internship.
